ACRE mourns the loss of Vonda McDaniel, a leader of the Bargaining for the Common Good table in Tennessee and former steering committee member. After 30 years as a member of the United Rubber Workers/United Steelworkers, Vonda became the President of the Central Labor Council and Vice President on the AFL-CIO Executive Council. Vonda’s visionary leadership and commitment to justice shaped the labor movement in Tennessee and beyond.
